MECO’s CPP Clean Power Plan for Garbage (CPPG) or CNC Clear and Clear Plan also named MECO Power mainly refers to the cleanness of the fuel-MSW-RDF/RPF-SNG gas(before gasification/combustion) and the clearness of the flue gas(after gasification/combustion) , which includes the following:

MECO’s CPP Clean Power Plan for Coal (CPPC) or CNC Clear and Clear Plan also named Mecoal mainly refers to the cleanness of the fuel-coal (before combustion) and the clearness of the flue gas (after combustion) , which includes the following:
1. The Cleanness before combustion:
● The moisture in the coal—The more moisture in the coal the more carbon dioxide discharged for the greenhouse effect
● The sulfur in the coal including the hazardous elements such as  organic sulfur, inorganic sulfur and elemental sulfur
● The ash and mercury in the coal
●  The volatile matter in the coal—Its invalid volatilization would lead to the losing of carbon

2. The Cleanness of  the combustion Elements:
● To take H2, CO and CH4 as the principal elements
● The inhibition of the precursor for Dioxin

3. The Clearness of the Flue Gas after combustion:
● The Recycling of carbon dioxide
● The reduction of oxynitride Nox
● The absorption of PM particle and mercury
● The suppression and disposal of Dioxin
● The melting of solid waste.


The main product of the coal drying process is LUCC Lignite Upgraded Clean Coal of Gar6000Kcal, Mt. 10%, with size of 10-100mm. During the coal up-grading (drying) process, the pulverized coal  is easily to arise, which would be collected and made into different co-products according to different sizes: CWMixture Coal Water Mixture Powder and CACC Coal Activated Carbon Coke. CWMixture is the best substitution for heavy oil while CACC has the great effect on air purification.

Gasification-Coal Power Plant (MEcoal) is to make use of the Low Rank Coal called Brown Coal or Lignite as the fuel through a process of P&DG: Pyrolyzation and Decomposition with Gasification to be the synthesis gas-SNG-gas. Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle includes the generating system: CCGT and HRST with Re-Melting for the clean and clear power. Gasification-Coal Power Plant is also matched with a CUP Coal-drying Up-grading Process of dewatering.

The brown coal or lignite owns more cost  advantages compared to  bituminous and sub –bituminous in IGCC system. Due to the high Moisture of brown coal or lignite, so the gasification-coal generation  matches with a CUP Coal Up-grading Process of dewatering.


CUP Coal Up-grading Process improves the quality of lignite  through de-water from 60% to 10% by Integrated Drying Combined Cycle- IDCC.

After upgrading the brown coal or lignite will be converted to the synthesis gas – the SNG-gas through a process-system of P&DG: Pyrolyzation and Decomposition with Gasification.  The SNG-gas after purification  is used for Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle to generate the clean power.

During the coal drying process, an advanced technology is adopted-- Integrated Drying Combined Cycle for the alternative choices:

● Coal drying matched with IGCC: The lignite is dried with CUP-Section process in the IGCC Power Plant;

● Coal drying isolated: The lignite is dried with CUP-Tank process  at the mining area. A small quic-pak coal-fired power plant is used to supply the power and heat for the drying process.

To improve efficiency of drying and gasification,  it is an essential procedure to remove the ash and gangue from raw coal. For lignite coal with large moisture,  dry type method is best choice that can avoid moisture increasing. + MORE
